Step Number 2: On Advanced boot screen there are several options depends on your system BIOS, you need to select the Safe Mode with Networking by pressing the arrow key, and then hit return(ENTER) to start the PC with Safe Mode .
Step Number 3: When your system started in Safe Mode then just login with your super user (ADMINISTRATOR) account.
Step Number 4: Now you are in desktop and let’s check all of your settings (Desktop).You can move around and check the default applications or third party software too.
Step Number 5: Now you need to go to your system Control Panel, for that you need to click the windows start menu icon the left corner of your desktop, and you see control panel tab, click on control panel.

- Restart your windows 8 system.
- Enter the system BIOS and configure the system to boot it from the optical drive (CD/DVD drive).
- Then save the settings and reboot the system.
- After that insert your windows DVD into the CD/DVD drive.
- When you see the text Press any key to boot from CD or DVD hit return or any key you want.
- Then windows Setup box displayed and you need to click next.
- Then you need to click Repair Your Computer.
- From the Troubleshoot screen, you need to click “Advanced options”.
- Then you need to click Command Prompt.
- On opened CMD window, you need to type C: and press return key (ENTER).
- On C: you just type this command “BCDEDIT /SET {DEFAULT} BOOTMENUPOLICY LEGACY” press ENTER.
- Then type EXIT to close the CMD window.
- From the Choose an Options window click Continue to restart the PC.
- Then just eject the installation media (Windows 8 DVD).
- Complete.
